Andrew Wilson Smith is a freelance sculptor and stone carver. Working in a variety of media including cast bronze, plaster, and stone, Mr. Smith has completed a number of sculpture commissions in both sacred and secular settings.

Smith served several  apprenticeships, and attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Art, as well as the Florence Academy of Art. During this time, Smith honed his technical skills and developed a historical perspective on art and aesthetics that continues to guide his work.

In addition to his work as an artist, Mr. Smith is deeply involved in promoting Liberal Arts education in both public and private schools. Mr. Smith has instructed students in Art and Art History at St. Gregory's Academy, Wyoming Catholic College, and the South Bend Museum of Art. Beginning in the fall of 2013, Mr. Smith will number himself among the founding faculty of Gregory the Great Academy, a small, liberal arts high-school in northeastern Pennsylvania.
